Big weight advantage running semi tube frame chassis and a 20b (3 rotor) engine.

EDIT: There was a thread about this already.

Actually that damn thing lead quite a bit of the race. The Mazdas sounded like a super high whine when they went by the finish line. You could hear them coming. Anyone know what RPMs they run at?
What was funny was when Patrick Dempsy got in his RX7, exiting the pits, he hit the outside wall going out.
I thought a tire blew on the DP Porsche?

The Rx8s were a hazzard in the rain, they were in the grass more than on the track. If the rain held it would of been 123 Porsche in GT. Damn shame for Bromos and Ruby Tuesday 2 out of the top 4 for most of the race was nice to see! I hope they do well for some of the shorter races.

I agree , you put 40 cars in a race you think 1 would of hit 1st, but hes wrapped up in that Craftsman truck series and still there should be no excuse. What a jump though!

Hi Guys and Gals,

For anyone who didn't make it to Daytona last weekend. It was a difficult weekend for a lot of race teams. Between the cold wet weather, new tires that increase in pressure when hot more than any other tire that most teams have seen in their racing history. The top finishing Porsche DP was the V8 Powered Porsche that finished in 10th spot. Too bad that PCNA wants nothing to do with helping them develop the engine.
