When I ran the channel finder on my new Toshiba LCD, it automatically found the over-air HD channels. I get the major networks for free in HD, without an external antenna. Cox Cable has cable channels available in HD, for "free". Of course, to get these "free" channels, you have to have a Cox decoder box. The decoder box is $9.99/mo. When they explained this to me over the phone, I laughed at them and hung up. Considering that I already give them $100/mo for cable and internet, you'd think they could give me SOMETHING.
