Watch guys, how did I do? Not that I am that big on fashion or what other people think of what I wear but I'm curious what you watch guys think of this move. I just sold this: http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1201998126.jpg Took the money and bought this: http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1201998167.jpg Bear in mind we are talking three hundred dollar watches (a lot of money to me). |

Both look nice. I am not a "Tag" type of guy because TAG in many cases does not make watches, they farm it out to other companies. If you are happy with it, then enjoy. Thats the most important part for me. |

I'm an unwatch guy, but your new one is cleaner looking & very easy to read. Good choice. Ian btw - the criteria for my last watch was: big numbers cause I'm going blind. |

Like Joe said Tag doesn't get much respect from the watch collectors for the reason he describes. And like Ian said the Tissot is much cleaner looking, I never used the chronograph feature (looks cool I must admit) or the rotating bezel, and the Tag was an quartz movement and the Tissot is a Swiss auto. Quartz is a little more accurate but the auto never needs a battery... besides if I want accurate I will wear my Casio G-shock. :D This Tissot model was also once discontinued and now being put out for a limited time. Thanks for your comments. SmileWavy |

I am a fan of automatics. It looked like a good trade up to me. How does it keep time? Speedy:) |

Anytime you go from Quartz to Automatic, you done good. :D |

I think Tissot is the official watch of nascar. You done good, bubba :p |

I like the Tag's classic good looks, but the Tissot looks more modern. What price range are we talking here? |
