yup, known car...not from factory. There's a white one in Wa. for sale that's looking for $30k with a 352 motor and has ghetto wheels on it.

Some day I'll scan the photos of the one my Dad helped build that raced Winston west races ( pre nascar) at Riverside. once it was to old and busted it raced Mesa Marin an after that it raced Ascot!

Jim- Please post those pics!

Kicking myself for not buying a '65 - not original but tribute conversion. Probably eight years ago and priced very attractive. Not a SOHC but was a 427 fitted in a '65 two door Galaxie. Dressed in all black... very sharp and a menacing look. Black steel wheels. Repro glass hood. The '65 had stacked headlamps and I think the lowers were removed for air ducting.

Have some heavy block 429 and 460 laying around waiting someday for the right project. Cheers
