Decent guess re: ground support in the Nam era, but those two used radial engines. No room for them inside that nacelle.

Had a dragonfly/Super Tweet buzz me in Sioux Falls as I worked in a construction yard on the southwest end of a runway one year...'bout jumped out of my skin as that thing was LOUD. Then the T-birds came to town and did the same thing upon arrival...almost soiled myself.

Just for fun, here's a circa-1963 photo of a Cavalier Mustang, modified for civilian use as a fast executive transport by Cavalier Aircraft Corporation in Florida. Tip-tanks were optional.
