so Mike (Angelo), how do you like my updated version of the Sistine chapel ceiling?

Absolutely....... Its really hard to improve a masterwork when one's design skills consist of paint, wheels, chops, sculpting bondo, and rollpans
instead of expertly using proportions, parting lines, fine details, technical innovation, and original design genius.

His version is not much different then the original but deviates most erroneously by putting a two tone paint scheme on the car. All I see here is an example of money ill spent.

This picture has been previously posted but deserves to be repeated. thanks to the OP

1. Single wiper to save on weight and better aerodynamics? Not like it's going to rain on track day - oops

2. Removed rear Targa glass to save weight (hope he doesn't have to go over 20 mph because of aerodynamics - or have it rain).

3. Lower it to the bone and put really wide tires on, gotta cut out the wheel wells now - but that saves weight too.

4. Needs more decals, decals makes it go faster.

Well said. In general, I like a lot of what he does. Although what he does is more like what an interior decorator does rather than the work of an architect, you know? Still doesn't mean I cannot enjoy it.

That said, while nothing on the car can I really call "wrong" or "bad", it just doesn't feel right. It doesn't need to be improved, it was perfect the way it was.

The skunk on the tail would indicate Lockheed-Martin. Not a NASA design.

Some captions are label that way, even on NASA's own website.

Senator John McCain, former Presidential candidate and anti-pork crusader, has taken a pot-shot at NASA for awarding Lockheed Martin $4.7 million in stimulus money "to develop supersonic corporate jet travel". I have a couple of problems with this. The first is a point of accuracy: the contract actually involves a small 35- to 70-passenger supersonic airliner, not a business jet.
