Where did you tour the LST Por_sha911? My grandfather skippered the LSM-465 in the Pacific theater during WWII (and landed LCT-34 in the invasions of Siciliy and Salerno before that) - having only seen photos, it would be cool to see one (or at least a similar ship) in person someday.
