A section of the controversial US-Mexico border fence expansion project crosses previously pristine desert sands at sunrise on March 14, 2009, between Yuma, Arizona and Calexico, California. The barrier stands 15 feet tall and sits on top of the sand so it can lifted by a machine and repositioned whenever the migrating desert dunes begin to bury it. The almost seven miles of floating fence cost about $6 million per mile to build...

So $42,000,000 for a fence to keep the Mexicans out ? Why don't we just hire 42 long range snipers at $1,000,000 each to sit out there and pop the illeagals for fun.

Fat rally flaps could double as door mats in the off season, and we really dig the lightening/airflow improving holes drilled into the ducktail and rear valance.
Not sure if that is the right place for lightening holes (destroys the pressure area/bubble), but it looks sort of cool at first glance.

911 Carrera 2.7 Targa - note that Carrera Targa comes with black roll-over bar in addition to black window trim strips and door handles
I'm rather confused about that last image above, even after reading the associated text.

A 1977 with SC flares and a 2.7 (thought Carrera's were 3.0L)?

Starting with MY1976 the cars received full body galvanization. That was a major step in extending the pleasure of ownership of these cars. It is estimated the zinc layer added 10 kg/20 lb of weight to the body.
Weight, 20 lbs of zinc galvanizing?

I don't think I've ever read that anywhere else either.

In 1977, for MY1978, engines in base 911 and in 911 Turbo both got displacement increase of 0.3 litres.
Did they mean to say 1978 models make in 1977?
