Das Kultauto VW Käfer - Aus aller Welt - Hamburger Abendblatt http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1450019307.jpg I bet there is an interesting story behind each of these, perhaps one in the same? Note the dust collection in the second picture. Oh yea, and someone closed the sunroof on the lavender one.;) EDIT: Found this..................................... http://justacarguy.blogspot.com/2015/10/how-to-make-vw-bugs-valuable-starve.html http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-EYR1SdmDJF...40512250_n.jpg http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-AGjHH_-iC9...21116093_n.jpg |

That's not mine. All I have is an N-guage CSX SD40 and about 15 freight cars. I'm thinking about setting up a circle track around our little tree just for laughs. If it happens, maybe I'll post a pic. Tooooooot tooooooooot.... http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1450070144.jpg |

[QUOTE=porsche4life;8916814]Wonder what happened to all of them? Can you imagine one of those beasts to try to stuff into something? ;)
I think alot of those Allison engines went into modified tractor pulling units. You don't see them as much anymore, but I remember one tractor that had 4 allison engines with 24 small chrome exhaust stacks on each one of them....oh the music it played was intoxicating. |
^^ some of those beasts ended up in unlimited Hydroplane race boats.
Sounded pretty good blasting across the water too! Cheers Richard |
After the war you could pick up a low time P-51 for $1500. They even advertised "Full tanks" as an enticement. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1450100207.jpg
