His son had restored it after the old fella had passed. I think I have more photos. I still miss talking to the original owner. I would walk by his garage and have a chat when his garage door was open.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1452980298.jpg |

If I recall correctly the son repaired the seat and cleaned it up but did not do a complete restoration. It is in running condition again. Kind of nice the way it is, the way his dad left it. His dad was a great mechanic and had rebuilt and restored many Gold Wings and Nortons. |
I had a Bultaco Sherpa T trials 350 (326cc) and it was a bit different from this. They had a one piece tank side covers and seat, all very light and flimsy. This one could be and older trials bike or a combo of several Bultaco dirt models. Mine looked the the pic below.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1452985512.jpg
My brother was a sub dealer for Bultaco, so I bought a lot of different models over the years. They were a great bike in their day. I think I had one of each model, except the 360 El Bandito. He raced a new Pursang every year. All nice |
Here's a pic of what the Matador looked like.
I think that's what the old white tank bike is, with a different front fender.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1452986200.jpg
