Those T6 things look cool especially the drop down bed version.

Maybe they could sell the design to Toyota and we could get a reliable one.

I believe we all make mistakes but I will not validate your poor choices and/or perversions and subsidize the results of them.

2014 concept, I don't think VW has done anything with it.

Here is the current lineup:

Not a TriStar but T4/5/6 do come in ladder frame back half with a flat deck:

They can have up to 200hp 4MOTION with 7 speed DSG

Such low profile tires for a truck - odd.

Well in Germany most of the road is paved

To be honest, I blinged them up with 17" rimz in the web configurator. They're usually for "light duty" use in construction support, city engineering and so on. No need for draggy mud tyres. If you needed American pickup type usage, you would go for the Amarok I guess.

Edit: Of course, that one is Austrian and not German

The VW Amarok is a rest-of-the-world compact pickup that competes against the likes of the global Ford Ranger, Chevy Colorado, Toyota Hilux and others, yet until now, it hasnít set foot on North American shores.

They do have those on Toyotas, Nissans, and Mitubushis all over Asia when I visited. Most are on the slightly bigger commercial trucks, similar to our pick up with the 10' flat beds. I buy one if they made one with a crew cab
