I always thought the same thing, especially when they narrow the front axle. I've had probably 15 beetles and 1 Ghia back in my younger days and never had the desire to do that to any of them.

This clown just pulled his boat through the drive through at In-n-Out drive through, then parks in a fire lane and comes inside to use the head.

What a jackass!! and the world is full of them.

That doesn’t look like a fire lane. It looks like he took up multiple parking spaces, which is what you have to when you’re pulling a trailer. Dragging a trailer through a drive-through is odd, but why is it jackassery?

Red curb in most parts indicates fire lane?

There is literally a sign over the right front fender saying "No Parking Any Time" and a red curb

Is that a man with a short sleeve shirt and black cowboy hat in the driver's seat?

I think it's still a ticket with a person behind the wheel ready and able to move in an emergency.

The Scarabee was designed since inception for hybrid propulsion..........

A Lithium-Ion powerpack provides power to the electric motor which can be used in four modes: boost, adding its power to that of the diesel engine when maximum thrust is needed, hybrid, full electric when silent and thermal signatures must be minimised, and power generator.

Both rear and front axles can rotate independently enabling the CRAB to make a u-turn in a 10 yard diameter, or in crazy situations, lateral moves (hence the name).
