First outing of the 2D and the only one with the flipper tail. By Sebring
they had a fixed spoiler tail. Story goes that the speeds on the banking at Daytona were high enough to overcome the hydraulics that kept the flipper in the high speed position...something they hadn't encountered with that tail section on the roadster 2 and 2C. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1629015941.jpg |
Yesterday, after visiting the local hardware store for a few spacers, came out and this was parked in front of me. '73 Chevy long bed.
