A couple weekends ago, I invited some friends over for a "garage night". My FrankenDiesel 4runner's "2l" diesel engine had a cracked head and was blowing up coolant hoses. I bought a rebuilt head in SC and was itching to put it on. I also wanted to chop the arse off the 4runner to give it a short pickup bed.
Anyway, good times were had by all. Even my wife came out to play! http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1264903224.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1264903236.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1264903247.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1264903259.jpg And here is the semi-finished product: http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1264903316.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1264903281.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1264903294.jpg It still needs a few finishing touches: -set of aluminum wheels off a ford ranger -army green paint -steel ladder/cargo rack that will easily fit 4x8 plywood, and with tabs set up to take 4-5 of my real estate sign posts - fabbed up steel bumper/push bars with driving lights. I'm going to wait until I buy a plow and integrate it into the mount. - Some decent front seats. The ones in it are terribly uncomfortable - a 2 tank veggie conversion |
