In what could be our last joy ride of the season (not many left), a moment to pause and take a few photos. The Ferrari is my buddy Bruce's, we see a lot of car shows together in the summer.

F-104 Starfighters
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1289584463.jpg
Does anybody know if these guys still do the airshow circuit? I checked their website & it seems a bit outdated with respect to their current status. I saw them at Abbotsford a few years back but the weather was at minimums & they just did some taxiing runs. The two aircraft at the show had an RCAF history. Also, the Starfighter had one of the most distinctive 'songs' of any warbird I can remember & to this day still holds a number of aviation records. Thanks for posting. Cheers JB |
I think they are out of the airshow business, but the planes may still be flying,
I think NASA has hired them for hi altitude tests out at Edwards in CA. Note I did see them fly out at Wendover UT. in 2005 it was a great show and very loud B 17 on Final at APA http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1289586079.jpg Panavia Tornados from German airforce at SLC approx 2004 http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1289586106.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1289586123.jpg |
