The short-lived (1972-76) VW of Brazil SP-2. Handsome, if underpowered car.
Now collectible. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1311911157.jpg |

as always, the images you contribute to this forum are excellent. I've always been puzzled by Marcello Gandini's penchant for the "oddly framed" rear wheel cutout, on his car designs. Was he trying to make profile look "correct", when viewed from 3/4 front/rear angles? His original "Countach", sans aerodynamic/engine cooling vents, was a work of art, but that rear wheel cutout just "stops my eye", every time I visually scan the car. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1311959504.jpg |

What you can do with scrap crap, spare parts and a welder......it's a tilt so I can load the Harley. Low enuff to tow behind the 911 or the Yukon with a drop hitch. Thinking about making a stripped down tear drop that I can lower onto the frame.
The stuff ya do whilst bored. I did get my welding skills up a bit. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1311990187.jpg |

The sad part is the lowsided bike looked fine, although it did take a pickup truck home. Johnny's bike was totaled. He had always kept it in pristine condition and the crash was not his fault in any way. Such a shame. http://farm7.static.flickr.com/6146/...c975f3b2_z.jpg _DSC2506 by sherarich, on Flickr Check out Shera's other photos here: Saturday july23,2011 - a set on Flickr <iframe width="640" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/m5aHCXJhY_Y" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> |
