Yeah, the first three photos are an LP560-4, and the wrecked one is an older Gallardo.

Yes, XB-36, first prototype...

No jets, didn't have the 'canopy' for the pilots.

Hard to see, but it only has one HUGE wheel/tire under each wing. The production plane had a 4 wheel bogie under each wing.

Several were based a Kirtland AFB in Albuquerque when I was a little kid... incredibly LOUD... either landing or taking off. Loud enought to rattle dishes off shelves and pictures off the wall.

The first was a confiscated Gallardo, wrecked, replaced with a later Gallardo LP560 (different nose, see the splitters??)

San Francisco:
"The concrete looked solid." "It was coned off...he was just trying to sneak in from a side street." A bystander reports that the hapless driver remained stuck in his car. "He didn't want to open the door and have concrete get in"

Now that's perfect timing. Paul's ambulance, after Byron's suicidal bicyclist.:D

Thanks for the explanation, I'm not familiar with any of these models. Lucky if I see more than a couple of Porsches I recoginize around here. :)
