CPU Question

I purchased a newly built CPU for my office and was trying to save pictures off the net into my pictures. When I go to my pictures, it shows that I saved the picture and shows the size in kb but when I click to open it, it says preview not availible. I have tried to open them with several different appications to no avail.... any suggestions???:(

Do they have a valid file extension?

I think so, I am trying to take some off of random pictures thread for desktop, I can do it at home with no problem...

Send a pic to me and I'l tell you the prob. Also, it's likely your OS config and not the CPU itself. What are you running?

When in the folder go to View and click on Thumbnail.

Okay guys,

Resolved the issue.... I am on broadband on the family CPU, and the office CPU is on AOL dial up. Aol defaults to compressing image files. I had to go into aol settings and click to never compress image files and tada! it worked like it was supposed to! A big thanks to RickM for the help today!!!
