Firearm gurus need some input

Greetings,

I browse pelican a bunch and noticed quite a few of you know a thing or two about long guns and handguns,

It's been awhile since I've gone through hunters safety education and I'm looking to get a refresher.

Do you have any resources I can check out and possible class information?

I'm planning on purchasing maybe a rifle in a few months and am wanting to get reacquainted with the do's and don'ts of firearm handling.

My current state of residents is North Carolina.

Thank you for your time,

Jason

Not NC but here's a link to a free online course in Mississippi. Should ciover a lot of the same material that your state requires.

Become a member of the NRA and they have many programs that can assist.

Support your local gun shop/range. Our local range has safety and CCW classes.

Check with your local shop that sells hunting licenses, or call your state DNR (or whatever they call it in NC) - they should be able to tell you when/where hunters ed courses are taught.
