Meet Widget

Meet Widget (a.k.a., Widge), our new Jack Russell Terrier. She is a 1.5 year old rescue Russell that weighs in at 8 lbs. and is 10" at the shoulders. She is tiny, very cute, too smart, and full of energy!

Island, I know of a pretty good vet.

With some set parameters, she is showing signs of a great dog.

Congrats!

Nicest and smartest dog I ever met was a JRT. The owner would point his finger and say "bang", then the dog would freeze then fall right over and play dead until you went over to pet him.

Great name, by the way

Beautiful little girl, (and this is from someone that knows terriers, lol). One of my Sunday golf partners breeds the little buggers. I think I may get the pick of this springs litter. I've been waiting for another dog since I lost my manchester terrier last August. Congrats!!!!!!!

Great looking dog. I was hiking a few years back and we had a lot of rain that year. The creek was higher than usual and when we came to the crossing (I had 2 large dogs) and there were 2 other people w/ dogs already at the bank. We were contemplating wether and where the best place to cross would be when a woman came up with her JRT and without hesitation, he bounced across the rocks like a pogo stick and looked back at us like "What's the problem?"
