Volvo Forum?

My girlfriend bought a '92 Volvo 960 yesterday. It's a great car (or so it seems) and I'm looking for a forum like this one that'll help me keep the thing alive. Does anyone know of any active sites for Volvos? I've searched around some but haven't come across any so far. How about parts houses? It's throwing an oxygen sensor code right now so I guess that's due.

This site, Clark's Garage, and occasionally that other board have helped me keep my 924S alive. There's gotta be something out there to help me out with her car.

And this http://www.volvoclub.org.uk/faq/960_90Info.htmlis . Buy the way we have a 93' 960 and just love the car, Make sure you change the timing belt ASAP along with the water pump and all the pulleys. Good luck with your new car

http://volvospeed.com/volvo_performance.shtml is really good too. One of the moderators works at a Volvo dealership as a tech.

Thanks for all the help! I'll be sure to hop on sometime tomorrow and read up. Right now her car is queued up behind mine for the garage. My 924S is having DME-related idle issues at the moment...

I'd been wondering what their timing belt change interval was - records show it's been 3 years / a bit under 40K miles. The only matter of concern is a clunk from the right rear when going over a speed bump.

All those boards are good, but keep in mind that you won't get as many or as helpful replies as you do on Pelican; when I had a transmission problem on my 90 740, I got better info in Pelican OT than on 3 Volvo forums combined.

Steve- The local Volvo Club (PSVCOA) Puget Sound Volvo Club of America, has many knowledgeable and helpful members that you might contact. Some who have helped me include: Steve Yabroff, Robert King (parts guy at Barrier Volvo), Joe Galant, and others. You can get contact information at the club website: http://www.psvcoa.org/
