I love Rage.
Chris Cornell rules (Soundgarden is one of my favorite bands), but Audioslave, as good as they are, will never eclipse RATM. Very different animal. I started out recording music and knew Garth Richardson who recorded the first RATM CD. From what I hear, Zack's solo record that has been recorded and ready for release (except for a label collapse) blows away latter RATM music. I'm not sitting out for three days in the sun and crowds, but I hope they record it and release it on DVD. |

wow,
Can't believe it's been almost a year since this concert. Rage killed it that night! The electricity in the air was incredible! The rest of the lineups weren't too bad either. Worth every penny to fly from the East coast to see this. Instead of cruising to Indio from San Diego in one of my p-cars, we had to do it in a rented HHR....ugh! Nothing like 100 degree days in April... If Rage was playing again this year, I'd go in a minute.
