Sad News . . .

Really sad to hear this news . . . Boyd was an icon in the Hot Rod world and his cars are works of art. Going to miss him on the Speed Channel too.

No need for apology. It's just the second one today. PM a mod and ask them to move it.

A man has passed, we can excuse a double post in order to remember him.

God bless, he certainly made even what we enjoy in the Porsche world better.

bummer! I don't think a TV show did him much good, he built some killer cars.

Amen to that.

I'm a long-term admirer of Boyd's work, what an eye that guy had.

Rev it to the redline up there Boyd, God speed you buddy.

Wow, that really sucks!
There was never a dull moment in Boyd's life!
From the start Boyd worked at getting into custom rides, (Boyd with the help of My buddys dad) helped themselves to Quite a few Rides.
I was glad to see him turn it into a legal profession. He had a gift for building awesome cars! '
He will be missed!

This is a sad loss, he did come up with some amazing designs. My Son and I ran into him just last August at Speed Week at the Bonneville Salt flats.
He was very personable and willing to let me take a quick photo:

RIP Boyd & thanks for your great work!
