UW Madison Engineering Innovation Days
So normally I am hitting the books hard at school and with a family and 2 hour commute everyday I don't have much time for anything else. During one of my study sessions I was sitting in Engineering Hall as this girl road by on a bicycle inside the building. This bike was loaded up with hula hoops and was ugly as sin. I was thinking WTF?
Here they were taking pictures of peoples inventions for the website during the inventors fair. The next day I logged onto the school server only to find out the girl who designed the hula hoop rack won 3rd place and $5,700. What? Are you kidding? WTF is going on here? I have crapped out better ideas than this and made things WAY more useful than this. I am sooo getting in next years competition. Is the Hoopla Rack worth $5,700 in prizes? http://studentservices.engr.wisc.edu/tongprize/Tong2008/3.html http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1204909986.gif http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1204909997.gif Speedy:) |

I read here website where she sells hula hoops and you would think see is trying to save the world using the hula hoop. Maybe she should run for President using the hula hoop and the hoopla transporter as her platform.
