				ALMS - Ford GT

I think it's pretty cool that they have a Ford GT running in the GT2 class at ALMS. They made mention there might be as many as 7 of them! I wonder what they had to modify to make it a GT2 class car? I imagine a smaller V8 minus the supercharger? I wonder why they didn't run in GT1? I think a Ford/Chevy match up in that class would pique domestic interest in the series...

It went into the tires, pretty messed up and day is over. Still it did look good for it's debut with very little development.

They really need to bring back prototype "street" car classes like the 917 qualified for. The Ford GT should be competing against other exotics like it that caould be driven on the street if you had enough money.
