Help reading Carfax for a 993?
 

Trying to see if I understand this carfax. I'm looking at a 3 owner, 65k mile 993. The car fax says she had 3 owners. The info for the 1st owner is below. My questions is why would they issue 3 different titles at different times. Does the DMV only issue a new title when the car is sold?

Help, I love this car but this is giving me a bad feeling.

It will say that every time it's re-registered sometimes if there's new tabs issue.It looks correct based on that info.

It been about 2 weeks so far. So far so good, such a cool place to live. Need a 993 to replace the Targa. Let's hang sometime. I have no one to talk about Porsches with!

This 993 is pretty cherry but it was just in a minor cosmetic wreck that shows up on Carfax. The car is a steal because of it. I'll PM you the car, I'd love to hear what you think.

for sure. BTW - I carfaxed the car I already owned and it kept telling me it reissued title or registration every time I got tabs for it. When it got sold, it stated new owner as a dealer then a new title / registration was issued once it got sold from the lot.

Either way, sounds like a good deal- can't wait to see it. Good timing weather is getting nice..
