A rep from VA (D) presented a bunch of charts and graphs on C-Span this morning regarding the national budget.

I was very impressed by what he had to say. It's not so much the spending on wars which has gotten us into all kinds of trouble, it's the tax cut for the very rich which has sunk us.

I think that he will be giving a full presentation to the Black Caucus on the same topic, watch for it.

The budget they will be proposing does not take anything out of the military budget as it will cost a lot of money to bring the troops back from Iraq.

The tax cuts will remain for everyone making less than $200,000 a year but go up to the old rate for those who can afford it.

C-Span should be listing a video of the interview soon, at least I hope so.

Yeah, I love watching Dems explain how more wealth redistribution will solve our problems. I need to Tivo that one.

I know charts can lie depending on who makes them up, but this is not the first time I've seen this information.
