That's interesting; he famously hated the Beatles, calling them "spectacularly unmusical" or something to that effect. He was very into music, but not modern pop music or rock and roll from what I was led to believe. My info could be completely wrong of course, except the Beatles quote which is fact. (If possibly paraphrased).

He was an interesting guy. As for modern right-wingers and their musical taste, there is not a lot of rhyme or reason to it. Gone are the days when your taste in the arts or entertainment defined some other world view, IMO.

Love the Dead. And the Beatles. And WMF!

Two old guys I used to work with were huge Tool fans. Go figure...
