Home Intercom-Replacement suggestions
 

When I built my home years ago I installed a hard wired, 8 or 10 strand(?) Rittenhouse Star System 9000 intercom/radio and 12 stations. I need advice on your suggestions as to an upgrade.
I want a unit that will adapt to lifestyle and technology changes. My current system is connected to my CD player. Is there a system that now uses MP3 or ?.
I would also like to incorporate a security system-motion/video if possible connected to a broadband network.
