I only saw the last 1.5 hours.

I wonder if they will re-broadcast?

Absolutely. Can't forget about the Lizard. I was just too excited about the overall.

Speedtv.com had live webcasts, in-car cameras - nice coverage for the price.

Gotta love those RS Spyders. Too bad they're gonna be detuned for next season...

ALMS making them do this?

The others are just tired of losing is the real reason.

Great win indeed ... too bad the #6 car had issues though because it would have been nice to see a 1-2 finish for the Penske boys.

I'm wondering if Audi is reconsidering today their decision to run the full series

They already were detuned for this year with smaller intake restrictors and had a 40 lb. weight penalty added and they still won. I was there yesterday with my son, we had seats directly above the Audi/Penske pits. Everyone says Roger Penske is a strategy genius and watching it unfold was magical. Almost all the P1/P2 cars had good pace it was a great race to watch. While Porsche did take 1st and 2nd in GT2 it was somewhat because the Risi Ferrari was taken out by the Lista Porsche spyder in an accident. But I give Flying Lizard credit as they seemed like they ran a strong pace. The ALMS is good racing

As I stood on the roof of my motorhome 200 feet from the start/finish line last night and watched the end of the race, it was pretty emotional. I've been going to the 12 hour race every year since '85 and have been a 911 owner since '89. All that great history and a bunch of GT2 wins, but never the big prize. I was beginning to think that I'd jinxed Porsche by owning one. And when that yellow #7 took the checkers, we almost could believe it.

BUT WE WON!
The Penske and Dyson teams did a great job and Flying Lizard deserves major credit for the GT2 win.

I didn't realize that the new weight restrictions had already been implemented. Man, you give Audi a handicap and they STILL can't beat the Spyders...

Looking forward to the season. Hopefully I'll see some of you at Lime Rock.
