Yep that what this country is made for, making money.

Anyway Mother in Tucson says, " Mortgage companies put together loan packages with good and bad loans and sold them to evrybody on the globe wanting a high return...hehehe...thats everybody....anyway what the Hedge Fund, Bank, Brokerage etc did with the Loan Pacakge is LEVERAGE it to buy more loan packages....sometime a single piece was leveraged 60 Xs the value. So today the value of 1M in loans that was leveraged to 60M is now worth less than 1M.

Now you can't sell the Loan Package for love nor money, it has become valueless...This has caused the credit industry read as BONDS...as NOT HAVING LIQUIDITY. THE MARKET HAS SEIZED UP>... Poor Arnold is looking for money for a cash strapped CA>.....CA get ready and asume the position you are about to get reamed.

I'll take the Great Depression of the 1930s' for $60 Alex...Illiquidity played what function during the GD.
