It was a little cool - but it was also great to be out on the water - first time we had been to the sandbar this year...

Did the same thing ... just with grandkids. Mid 70's, SSE winds at 12 Knots. Doesn't get any better.

I'm counting the days until I can get back on the water.

Me too...... my boat is still swamped in with snow?
The cabin is so well shaded the snow doesn't melt on the road side of the property, thus my boat is boxed in with snow still.

Anyway, Spring is here too, polishing up the car today and I'll be polishing up the boat soon too.

My daughter has already started asking when we are going to beach. We do a 10 day stint in NC at Emerald Isle every year. I have been going since I was a kid in the early 80's. I love it.

My kids do not have Spring Break until Friday. We are heading up to the NC mountains Thurs. Night for about a week. Probably our last time staying in the vacation home before its sold so it will be a bittersweet stay.

No boats or fishing - but lots of water and sand!

Rained all weekend here. I had the boat all ready to take out too. :(
