The snow out my window is blowing sideways

Jeebus I'm tired of this. Really windy and snowing. Sunday is Easter? Ha. Yeah I know it's warm in Cali and Fla so keep it to yourself!:D How's your weather Livi?

tcar 03-21-2008 07:29 AM

Warm in Denver, too. Beautiful, beautiful spring day.

Snowing like Chicago in the mountains. Come ski!

gassy 03-21-2008 07:34 AM

Sounds good to me! My flight would probaly be delayed by at least two hours though!

Neilk 03-21-2008 07:35 AM

Drove the Porsche to work today... It was a cool but sunny 55 degrees when I left this morning, but it should be a glorious 75 degrees on the way home. Topless motoring at it's best (legally).

onewhippedpuppy 03-21-2008 07:41 AM

Wow, that sucks. It's even nice in KS today. Don't say that very often!:)

You forgot Arizona as well. Its sunny and going to be 81 today....

Instrument 41 03-21-2008 09:13 AM

Just came in for a break from cuttin grass. 78 high today with 60% humidity, just perfect

Porsche-O-Phile 03-21-2008 09:13 AM

What is this "snow" of which you speak?

Seric 03-21-2008 09:23 AM

Look out for the Global Warming!

Whew, dodged it...

Hugh R 03-21-2008 09:26 AM

I was in Boston this week. Unbelievable the temps were in the mid 30s near the end of March! Glad to get back to LA where its' in the 70s.

cl8ton 03-21-2008 09:32 AM

So how many inches of Global Warming do they predict will fall from this current storm?

gassy 03-21-2008 10:48 AM

I'm closing the studio at 2pm due to the weather--you all suck! ;)

Porsche-O-Phile 03-21-2008 10:53 AM

I'm leaving the office right now for a short trip to go get lunch on the motorcycle. It's a beautiful 70-degree sunny day here.

Even with all its many problems, California occasionally has its perks. . . ;)

Joeaksa 03-21-2008 11:22 AM

Sad that its a bit after 12 here and still only 78 degrees and clear. Going to have to sit by the pool out back and enjoy a beer!

Dueller 03-21-2008 11:31 AM

Hey, Joe...you just put a pool in didn't ya? How 'bout some pics.

artplumber 03-21-2008 11:33 AM

Snow here is on the mountains. Easy to drive to and ski on. Otherwise sunny and dry.

asphaltgambler 03-21-2008 11:37 AM

My fiance' is predicting 7" tonight....

Jims5543 03-21-2008 11:44 AM

I really wish it would warm up, up there in the snowy North.

I am at my wits end with your parents and grandparents down here in Florida. All the roads are congested with traffic and the entire road is covered with NY, NJ, Conn, PA, Ohio, and Mich. plates, on top of that they are all doing 10 under the posted speed.

Yet, they do not have time for stop signs or waiting to pull out onto the road from side roads and parking lots, they barrel out and its your problem dealing with missing them.

Easter is here and that is a happy time in Florida, because now they all leave and go back up North. I just need it to warm up a little up there so they will go sooner.

Nope, its been here since the house was built. Here is a terrible shot of it out the office window through the screen.

All it needs is my rear end sitting out there (will be in a minute) with a margarita in my hand!

HA!

Today it was 65º--and we're only 150 miles from Chicago!

That’s called an “Arctic Cold Front” moving in out here, ditch the huaraches and dive for the wind breaker :D

snbush67 03-21-2008 08:42 PM

I got a little chill reading this.....brrrrr.

Tobra 03-21-2008 10:14 PM

I planted my tomatoes in the back yard a few weeks ago.

My daughter got plenty of snow, Cincinnati area, and was complaining about it to my mother. Mom told her that winter is why she moved from Nebraska to California, that and at the time she graduated from medical school she could get a residency in Pedi or Ob/Gyn in Nebraska, and whatever she wanted in California.

I like winter weather just fine myself, bit of inconvenience with the ice and salt on the road rotting your car to pieces. Do they still use salt or is it all sand?

rammstein 03-21-2008 11:07 PM

It was only 72 and cloudy today... I wore a light sweatshirt to cope.

Hey- 18 years in Utica, NY. I earned this!

gassy 03-22-2008 04:55 AM

They use unly salt in Chicago--they've already used all of 2009'bs budgeted salt

snbush67 03-22-2008 03:42 PM

WYH is unly salt?
