Unbelievable luck

I just found a red balloon stuck in a tree with a diamond ring hidden inside. Going to appraiser now. They should call this day Great Friday.

Porsche-O-Phile 03-21-2008 10:13 AM

LOL!

There's a girl I know over in the U.K. that will be your bedroom honey for it.

Joeaksa 03-21-2008 10:14 AM

Pls keep looking, I hear that there is a winning lotto ticket also in the same balloon! :)

onewhippedpuppy 03-21-2008 10:15 AM

Don't take less than $12k for it.

svandamme 03-21-2008 10:20 AM

i read something in the news the other day about a dude in london with a 12 grand diamond who lost it hanging on a helium balloon... she told him to get a new one or no wedding...

that must be one hell of a balloon to get all the way over the atlantic in 7 days :D

EdT82SC 03-21-2008 10:20 AM

That's hilarious! You really ought to contact your local TV news. They'll have you on the evening news on every channel tonight with that story, and hopefully the poor bloke who let go of the balloon will be able to get it back.

Mark Wilson 03-21-2008 10:23 AM

The right thing to do is call the local newspaper/TV news and get them to do a story on it. May get back to the rightful owner. You would be rewarded.

Are you sure that it was not an inflated condom?

They come in red too.

Even more amazing when you consider that the balloon would be traveling against the winds, which flow from west to east at those latitudes.

bivenator - update?

gassy 03-21-2008 11:10 AM

A 12K C0ck ring from Heaven. You are blessed! And a b!tch in London got what she deserved.

bivenator 03-21-2008 11:38 AM

Too busy to get a real update, 2 hookers and kilo are on the way. If any money is leftover I might get a tank of gas.
I like the way you think svandamme.

The long way ...

I agree - if you are a dumbass enough to tie a $12,000 ring to a helium balloon - then you deserve to lose it -

Of course, $12K could buy you a nice 3.6 ;)

Some poor sap in Siberia will probably find it and buy some decent vodka finally ...

Or, if it falls short Maxium might finally be able to take care of the P truck that he blew the wheels and rims out on ;)

I agree.

Karma gods are always watching you
