1. whats this setup worth if I was going to sell it?

Those are Sony xplod 12" 1200watt with a Sony 1200watt amp. The box is 3/4 high density fiberboard covered in spray on bed-liner.

2. What would be a good pair of 8" subs and amp that would have a good rich sound that is reasonably priced to do something like this with.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsche-924-944-968-technical-forum/354219-cubby-woofer.html?highlight=subwoofers

Probably just enough to cover the cost of the new hearing aids :)

Best to look to Ebay and see what the same or almost similar equipment has sold for
