What's for dinner tonight?

Lamb shoulder chop in olive oil w/ some leftover corn/bean/pepper salad that someone else made for my FIL's memorial service.

3rd day Rocca Delle Macie Riserva went pretty nicely with it. Well, not so much with the 'salad' but pretty nice with the lamb.

Had a killer day of depositions squeezed into answering interrogatories and getting them out before the motion to compell came in. Worked through lunch, got out of the depos late and drove home through the I35 W Bridge detour route, along with everyone else in the world. Got home starving. Found a couple of lovely pieces of deep dish pizza with the works. Tossed 'em in the microwave and washed 'em down with a bottle of Bass Ale. One happy tummy later and I'm cruising PPOTBB. Nice supper for both of us.

Wife and kids out of town so I get to eat whatever I want. WOOHOO!!

Tonight was polish sausage on the grill and french fries from the freezer.

I even stood at the island and ate, while watching the 5pm news.

Dessert? Took a nice sporting drive in the 911.

Sweet.

I was snorkeling on the north shore of Oahu this afternoon. On the advice of a local, I ate at a roadside truck parked under the shade of a huge banyan tree. The truck looked awful, but...

A big steaming plate of jumbo shrimp in garlic sauce and rice with a cold beer. Fantastic!

I worked out in the field this morning, we humped out 6 mortgage surveys in 5 hours and I got back to the office by 1:00, I get a phone call from my attys off ice that I have to go there and sign some interrogatories that had to be submitted today. So off I go, not planning on this and having to set aside 2.0 hours of the day. I ran home (5 minutes away) dumped the work truck to pick up the rX7 for the nice 20 mile ride to his office, then remembered the slicks are still in the back, so I ran to the storage unit and dumped them off then off to attorney's.

Back in office by 4:00, draw a rush job up in a record setting 30 minutes and I am off catching a ride to pick up the Audi from the shop, back home to dump the Audi, the back left tire is flat, ans we are to take it on a 700 mile road trip tomorrow. I pump it back up and it seems like the schrader valve was sticking.

Shoot back to office with work truck to pick up rest of drafting to do at home, dump truck, pick up RX7 come home.

Audi is filthy (long story) so I decide to clean it up real quick.......2 hours later I am done right as RickV calls.

Talk to rick for about 30 minutes, head inside, 7:00, cold pizza on the stove yummy, and a couple of beers.

Kiss 4 y/o good night as mom is reading bedtime stories and off to draft, Procon calls, we chat for about 40 minutes, back to work.

11:40 at night and I have 3 drawn 2 to go.......

back to work..... and I am out of beer.....

Cereal (generic frosted mini wheats). Had a 7:15pm softball game and not enough time to eat beforehand (except for a granola bar). decided to shoot some pictures at the field afterwards and didn't get home until 9pm. After a few phone calls and emails and a shower it is after 10pm. Too much hassle to cook anything. At least lunch was decent...

heh. I do a smoothie most every day that has soy milk, organic yogurt, triple fiber, soy protein powder, two celery stalks, one banana, one apple, and frozen blueberries or strawberries. That helps balance it out
