Thumbs up The Cat had RIce for Easter Dinner

After leaving my Aunt's for Easter dinner taking my Mother to one of the clubs we provide entertainment for, the XJR got a rice snack

Heading down US-17 (a straight, 6 lane road) we were stopped at a light when a Honda pulls up next to us, not too ricy, but caged, tuna can, lowered, ect. Well, when the light changed, I took off, just enough to keep ahead and just kept pushing my foot down and I could hear him reving high, so I hit the Sport mode button & put my foot on the floor, looking at him way back in my mirror. Since I was doing close to 130mph and he wasn't even close, I just lifted off the gas, until I got back down to 60mph and he flew past me as I laughed my butt off. Of course I had a lot more had I chose to keep my foot in it

Byron, I've been thinking a lot lately about getting an XJR for my daily driver. Nice '04s can be had for the mid 20s. My question is how big are they inside. Can they hold a family of 5 comfortably? If so they seem like almost the perfect car for me.

Thumbs down

you were doing 130mph on a public road?! even if you are a great driver, there are too many variables and things you cant control on the streets. very stupid!

Good show and hope the cat enjoyed the snack.

Ever get your wheels sorted out?

I keep mine in "sport" mode most of the time, just like the shift programs better.

If they are average size yes, as a dd, great and faster than my Carrera
4 full size adults fit just fine, have had 5 in to with no trouble too.

Six lane divided highway with only one other car, no side streets until the next intersection a few miles up, so not many variables, and like I said, I just went up & backed off, with 390PH, it does that pretty quickly
Great driver, no, I have have spent plenty of nights at Holiday Inns
