Hey, CharlesKiefner...a question about Barbados & Yellowbird for family vacation

Chuck...its been a while since I was last in Barbados. My (new) wife and kids have not been. I enjoyed the "gap" area and am thinking about taking them this summer. They are 17 (twins) and 19 (stepson) and will probably want to bring their bf's and gf's. Whaddya think? Does the Yellowbird have units to accomofdate 8-10 adults?

from what i saw most of the rooms were 2 kings so 4 could sleep comfortable. you cant beat the price at 80 a night off season. but off season is also hurricane season so watch the weather close like a hawk.

if i remember also most of the rooms had the tie in door so if you had adjacent rooms you could walk from one to the other w/out having to go outside and back in from the front so im sure its doable.

if bucks aint a concern.....................CRANE BEACH HOTEL/CONDOS! your typical go there first time and fall in love and wish you were staying there instead deal. god was it nice. no expense spared makes the 5 star boulders here in carefree look like a TURD! makes the phonecian here look bad. it is a class act. one of the top 10 beaches in the world. isolated from bee bop hip hop disco rasta rock n roll gap by a few miles. its on the atlantic side unlike the gap which is on carribean side of island.

thursday night da boogie starts happening til about dawn at the gap. it does get loud and the walls will vibrate. but it is a hell of alot of fun.

and theres a hilton standing on the old foundation of bridgetown fort overlooking carlislie bay. literally the walls and cannons are still in place with a freeking hilton slapped into middle of it. like a time warp kind of thang. killer view killer snorkel killer wreck diving. wrecks out the kazoo to dive til you drop from hanging tanks on yer back. walk into water swim a 100yds be on top of wreck. all safe to dive and penetrate.

kids probably will enjoy gap the most. lots to see people watch shopping multiple beaches(all public) many resorts many bars mega killer good food goofy island cars rastas goofy british tourists its a gas!
