Jesse Ventura of course, but I like Paul too.
Jesse Ventura by contract has been forbidden to speak on TV and cable for the past three years. His MSBC program/show was canceled and these were the terms of the no competition contract. Beyond his movie and book, I expect to see more of him, a lot more of him.

Jesse? All I can say about him is that he sounded like a good idea at the time.

He had extraordinary ratings his first two years in office. He actually did a couple of good things then. But as his term wore on he got just plain goofy. He lashed out at the press for pretty tame stuff and actually changed the media ID badges to say "Media Jackal" as the press ID badge. That didn't last, but he seemed to go out of his way to find insult and injury and then lash out at the offending person. He seemed to physically threaten more than one questioner at press conferences. He was unable to put together a legislative agenda to compete with the Republicans of DFL so for the last year or so they just agreed to ignore him, cut their deals with each other and then passed everything with veto-proof majorities. That inadvertently produced some decent legislation, but the two major parties left a lot of big issues unsolved that had to be addressed after the next gubenatorial election. We're still dealing with the aftermath of some of that, and the current crop isn't making any of it better. I think by the time his term was over there was a general sigh of relief in Minnesota.

CNN had a poll and the vote was 87% for him to run for POTUS. Wish he would as right now we have the "choice of the worst candidate" instead of any real option.
