World Autism Day
 

This week with all of the media coverage has really gotten me concerned.

I think they tested my son last week at his check up. They did not tell me this, but it is my guess.

Just another thing for parents to worry about.

Do a google search for M-CHAT, you'll find lots of good information.

Hugh they were the questions that they were asking.

The scary thing about autism is that there are so many variations/spectrums that it's easy to miss. We keyed in on eye contact and expression with our son. It's what kept me sane. Turns out he's fine but i can tell you with complete honesty that i literally broke down into tears the first time he smiled at me. It took a while and i was getting quite worried.
