SO what the heck does a 1967 Fiat BTM look like? I tried to google it but I just get stories about Seinfelds crash.

DavidB911 04-03-2008 07:49 PM

Wikipedia shows no "BTM". there are some 2 seaters though.

"BTM" is the abbreviation for "Body Type Model" used by DMV's and police departments across the country for the purpose of uniform reporting of accidents and stolen vehicles. There is a code that accompanies the BTM designation, like "CP" (Coupe), "SD" (Sedan), "RD" (Roadster) etc. An ignorant reporter probably saw "YR: 67 MAKE: FIAT BTM: CP" on a police report and thought that it was a model designation. Now it's all over the Inter-Web. There is no such car as a Fiat BTM.

I would bet almost anything that he does. I don't think he would tip his hand that it's him, though.

George: But I have hand!
Girlfriend: And you're gonna need it!

What kind of car has brakes that stop working?

Oh wait, a Fiat :D

I'm glad he walked from it and nobody got hurt. I always liked Jerry.

berettafan 04-04-2008 04:36 AM

Brad Garrett (Tony IIRC) would NOT be happy.

KFC911 04-04-2008 05:36 AM

Glad you're OK Jerry....Porsche's have GREAT brakes, but you already know that :)!

cashflyer 04-04-2008 05:38 AM

Jim got it right.
Fiat only made two coupes in 1967 - the 124 coupe and the Dino.

Quote:

"Because I know there are kids out there, I want to make sure they all know that driving without braking is not something I recommend, unless you have professional clown training or a comedy background, as I do," he joked.
