Thumbs up Going to Cabo San Lucas!

I'm staying at the Hilton next week in Cabo with my girlfriend. Does anyone have any suggestions or recommendations?

Thx!

Sure. What I like to do:

Cabo Wabo. See Sammy Hagar's bar. Its a tourist trap through go in, get your picture buy some Cabo Wabo tequila, and then go somewhere else.

Snorkeling. Awesome snorkeling. See the Pelicans, Sea Lions, and I don't think the whales are running by there right now. Might be.

Expect to get asked if you want to get high a lot.

Hit the beach and work the tan.

I am envious of you sir. Have a good time.

Wow...
Last time I was there, there was not Hilton. No Cabo Wabo. Only phone was in the Police station. No TV anywhere. Just a few (but very nice small hotels).

Been awhile.

Which beach? You can't swim on 90% of them thanks to the rip tide.

Check out this guy by the name of Spencer Moore. Runs a bunch of restaurants that are great fun. Mama's, Felix, Spencers - to name the ones I can recall.

I'm on his mailing list, and he sends me his latest recipes all the time, many of which I've tried, and all of which have been superb. His sons run a couple of other restaurants - but the father is a genuine lunatic, and huge fun.

I was there last week but only for half a day (Cruise)... I'm thinking of going back but not sure so I will checking back on this thread.

Beware of time share pimps, I specifically was not attacked by them but heard a lot about them.

Problem for me being I'm paranoid about Mexico, the food, the water, the booze, all are rumored to be sketchy.

And then there is the possibility of me being a single middle age male... if I went out on the town and got a little drunk... and a lady came along and offered to go back to the room and give me a massage... would I get busted and thrown in jail?

Scott last time I was there, I dropped 20 bucks on one of the great many boats at the dock, and he took me over between the marina and lovers beach, and I snorkeled there for 45 minutes or so.

Me and the lady I was with also spent 2 hours on Lover's beach and did some swimming there.

I didn't see any rip tides, are they on the back side in the pacific?

In a dark and cozy bar it could end up being a man...

Even scarier!

See, dangers around every corner!

Note to self: Crotch check before taking any ladies back to the room
