Well, the missile project is stalled. I was not the winning bidder on the plutonium recently auctioned on Ebay.

Nor was I able to hit 4,000 feet. My laptop battery is EOL and died on me, during the flight, so I lost my telemetry. The device has a recorder, so I was able to get the readings latter. I was a little nervous flying so high without an indication of my altitude.

Next weekend...

Hi hello...I'm Normy. I flew model airplanes for years with the Toledo Weak Signals, the club that holds the big Toledo conevention each year.

Well, I've since gone on to better things! These days I fly the second officer seat of a 727, but I have flown 747's for Connie Kalitta, a known a *s *s*h*o*l*e*

N!

Looks like the convention was earlier this month. I can't say that I get excited over model conventions. You don't like to fly R/C anymore?

I get to tool around in a B36 Bonanza, but have no desire to be a professional pilot.

I don't know the guy, so I can't pass judgment.

Dave,

Connie has a very well deserved reputation around both the drag racing and aviation worlds.

The easiest way I can describe it is that the FAA is hovering over almost all of his operations because he is too cheap to do maintenance properly and is always taking shortcuts. Shortcuts with airplanes do not usually work well, so you are right on the edge of being legal and safe, all the while just to save money for Connie and his playtoys.

I have known 4-5 pilots who worked for his operation and their two happiest days in their lives were the day they were hired and the day they quit after finding a job with a real flight ops.

Enjoy your Bonanza, its about 10x safer than any of Connie's airplanes. Normy, who you flying with now?

Joe
