Receiving duplicate emails.

Pretty simple question, I am receiving duplicate emails on almost all mail that I receive. I have no idea what causes this but I would like to correct it if anyone has any ideas what is causing this.

Thanks in advance,
Widge

Must be my split personality.

Do you keep a copy of your email on your ISP's server? Almost sounds like you may have a corrupt mail file.

I believe that may be exactly the case. I had the same problem a coupel years ago, and it wound up being a corupt mail inbox on the server, or something like that.
Log into your web-based mail if you have it, and clear out everything...that's what I recall doing.

Is the duplicate email being forwarded from another account, i.e. all mail to XXXX@gmail.com forwarded to your XXXX@emailaccount.com?

More likely Dave is correct.

Best,

Kurt

It's a replicator, you're lucky it's only making one copy.

Check your rules (if you're on a mac) under preferences/mail. I had the same problem.
