El Segundo Theater shooting follow up...
 

So, besides the 2 Police officers who were shot another young man was also hit in the leg by a stray bullet.

He's missed some work due to the incident and now is El Segundo employer appears to have let him go because of it.

My first thoughts are that since he's missed 4 days, he could go on State disability and possibly qualify for FMLA which would save him from loosing some pay as well as his job.

I think it may be illegal for the company to fire him like this...

I'm sure the ACLU is looking into it...

What really sucks is the kid keeps his nose clean, there for his family, had a job, and he gets shot while keeping his date out of harms way, and the fire him:mad:
If accurate, this kid has very good character and is a productive person. Hope this wrong gets righted.
