New Toy Tractor Porn

1986 JD 330
The first diesel garden tractor for Deere.
3 cyl. 16 hp Yanmar Diesel
Soon to have a set of Carlisle lugs treads in the rear and 3 ribs in front. I have ordered a full set of hydro ports from an after-marketer that will give me 2 Hydro ports in front and one in back. This thing is built like a tank! And OHHHH the accessories!

I love this little tractor. It has paid for itself many times over. Old Kubota 3 cylinder diesel, 4 wheel drive, PTO, and always runs.

Hey Paul. Well let's see... snow / dozer blade with lift and angle, 3 point rear hitch to drag stuff around, 48" mower deck,(got that), log splitter, and of course, the holy grail, a front loader. There is a bunch more out there. I have had a little one for a couple of years now and I have worked it to death but it had no expansion capabilities. They save a LOT of work around here. And yes it makes me happy! It also is collectable too, so it'll always be worth at least what I paid for it. AHHHH the smell of diesel exhaust.

It's old, but it's a little brute. I wouldn't be without 4 wheel drive. It also has a rear wheel lock up which is a great thing. I also have a '69 John Deere 112 I want to sell, because it will hardly work on anything but level ground. No limited slip transaxle and doesn't weigh enough to push or pull anything. The Kubota at a little over 1K pounds is light enough.

I love the old John Deeres. I used to have a gas 400 and my neighbor had a diesel 430 with a category 0 three point hitch. I currently have a 1986 755 and a 1988 F935 front mower (which is basically a 430 turned around). They both start right up although they are starting to feel their age. Don't ever let yours run out of fuel, its a PITA to bleed.

Thanks for the tip! Diesel is new to me. The thing is really strong, a little brute, for it's age. Only 938 hrs. on the clock.
