Why would any news organisation repeat that? I've been vocally against mass illegal immigration in the U.S. and all of its unintended consequences, (I live in SoCal, which is truly the belly of the beast), but what those numbers conveniently omit is the contribution to the U.S. economy of illegals. I'm not saying that they contribute more net than they cost us, but for chrisakes do the math. There is a HUGE ******* missing piece of the puzzle in that BS email. Do you even care about intellectual honesty?

The Iraq war IS the huge drain on the U.S. economy. When you honestly factor-in the interest costs of our debt to the Chinese for the invasion/occupation and the weak dollar caused by the resulting deficit+ the sky-rocketing cost of energy that is a direct result of those two things, it's a trillion-dollar fuch-up for someone's kids. (I don't have any).

So enjoy your little half-assed tax-break from Dumbo, maybe use it to fill-up the Chevy Suburban and buy a loaf of $5.00 bread. No one is so stupid as the voter who still loves old W and DIck as they get drilled in the ass for the oil industry.

Totally agree and we have seen this in Arizona in the last 6 months or so. We enacted a state law recently making it illegal for an employer to hire anyone without the legal right to live and work in America. Thousands started leaving the state and its still continuing. Some go home to Mexico and some go to other states. We do not care where they go as long as they lleave our state.

Americans picked up the slack and are now doing the work that the "wetbacks" did in the past. You give an American a descent wage and they will do the job. This crap about their doing jobs that Americans would not do is just pure BS.

Give me a topic, and I'll tell ya where I stand, but I'm all over the place just like most. In general, I'm WAY more fiscally conservative than most, disdain government handouts, and in gereral, simply want the government to stay out of my private life, and to return to the limited powers that our Constitution originally granted. I've only voted for a Democratic presidential candidate once (didn't like him one bit however), and that was last time around. Oh, I'm a raving liberal by my parent's criteria, but they'd make everyone on this board appear like that too :).

While I don't question the validity of these numbers you can't take multiple sources that cover some or all of the same thing and treat them as individual numbers to artificially inflate the total.
