who's the next VP?

OK, so we've established that the dems will self-destruct and McCain will be elected. So who will be his VP?

Jim Richards 04-23-2008 12:35 PM

Darth Cheney will still be the puppetmaster.

Tobra 04-23-2008 12:35 PM

Joe Lieberman

I was thinkng either Lieberman (hope not), or our new Gov., Bobby Jindal (although he has morphed into something different than what he was running as)...Just a lackey for our 'ol Gov. Foster, ex Gov. 2 back. Ethics reform (which he championed) got so riddled with holes that it won't stand, and he is a VERY artful dodger. Although the "bloom is off the rose", they sure seem to be grooming him with all of these upcoming TV spots. Unless the GOP finds a "true conservative" as VP, watch for mass exodus from the party. I no longer consider myself a Republican, but a true conservative.

I'd love to see Romney as VP to balance out "liberal McCain".:)

Believe it or not, I like her more now than when her campaign started. I know it will never happen, but it would be a winning ticket and, hey, a woman VP. :)

If she could just put a gag in Bill (sorry about the many unfortunate images that statement creates).

Best,

Kurt

How about Florida's new governor?

Seems like "delivering" Florida in a general election is important, although I don't know enough about it to think that Crist could.

Even McCain knows Lieberman is too old,
I still like Knute and in four years he could run for POTUS, McCain will be lucky to last four years in that position. Way to much stress and long hours.
Condi would be OK
The Governor of Florida seems to be a possibility
The Governor of Wisconson I think also has been mentioned.

The big question for me is who would run with either Obama or Hillary.
I still think Hillary has to have a sock puppet with no balls so Wes Clark would fit.
Obama, Richardson from New Mexico? Not Hillary, she was there already.

Why does anyone believe a governor can deliver his/her state? It only happens by accident, which means the governor doesn't really deliver it. If Jeb Bush delivered FL for W., why didn't he do it by more than 537 votes?

Because then the massive Bush conspiracy to steal Florida would have been more obvious

Oh yeah, I had forgotten about that. Actually, I'm more impressed by the conspiracy to steal WV and TN away from the Dems, which should have been easy wins for Gore.
