I'm a track starter, the cost of ammo has skyrocketed. What hasn't?

Anyways looking for tips on reloading blanks for my .32 and .38 as well as wadcutters for my .357 and .40.

I've heard that new blank cases aren't built very well and shouldn't be reloaded...anyone BTDT and give me some direction?

Just a primer pop should do ti for a starter gun... should be as simple as depriming and puttign a new primer in. There are cheap handtools to do it. For the "real" rounds, get a single or multistage press and go for it. From what I gathered after I asked a similar question a while back, you are looking at 100-150 for set up, then components, and your time.

For a bit louder blank you can fill the brass about 1/4 of the way with black powder or substitute like Triple Seven, put a small piece of tissue on top of the powder and compress with the proper size dowel stick. It will stay compressed. All this is safe and will be loud enough. I used to do it all the time in 44 Spcl cases for quick draw competition. DO NOT, however, EVER aim a blank at anyone. At close range, e.g. up to about two feet, the blast alone will blow a beer can apart...or you face.
