Question Dude, Who cuts your hair???

I am kind of anal about my hair. When we first moved here I was going to the most expensive place in town. Hot stylist, great decor, cappuccino/espresso, etc. They did a good job concidering most of the time they were on the phone. The thing is they were using clippers. So I bought an expensive set and...

Yesterday I went to Fantastic Sams and asked for a scissors cut. It was okay I guess but kind of redneck.

not me

Should I go back to the first place and ask for a scissors cut or keep searching?

The scissor cut looks fine, but you really need to re-think your facial hair strategy.

A face as handsome as that deserves something quite a bit more worthy. Less facial hair or none at all. Alot of guys would kill for features like that - don't hide 'em.

Wolf? Three wolves!

You should find a small shop to cut your hair. I've always had good luck with the private shops. The chains are about cranking out heads. My barber is great. And she does everything I want. I am picky. I have been tipping her well. I took the kids to a chain shop once and even they said it sucked. Now we all gonto my shop and get great service.

I got tired of everyone using clippers. I mean how hard is that? So I started cutting my own hair. That lasted a couple years and then I got tired of it.

Now I go to this little lady that uses clippers on the side and back and scissors on the top. For my long haired son, she just uses clippers. So I guess my advice is go to a good shop but ask for scissors.

A side story: a GF in college worked the front counter at one of the national chain cheap hair places. People would ask her how the cut looked and she would lie her ass off and try not to laugh

While in college and early in my career I either cut my own hair or let it grow (shoulder length at one time). I figured I saved $2500-$3500 in that time.

dump the side burns

increase everything else 1"

Try out various cutters till you find one that suits you. Kinda like finding a good shrink.

Does she Really do Everything you want???
If so, can I have her number?

I used to go to a place that was rumored to be a front for hookers and dope.... saw some hooker-looking types there, especially the one who used to wash my hair... DD's outta sight, super low-cut tops and she had to really get in there for the scrub down. I was nearly blinded. Never was too forward, though... guess it was because I was in my late teens then... and had no coin for such foolishness.
And too straight for dope.

What I do these days is frequesnt a good private shop but I use the trainees at the cosmetology school there. A good cut for $5.00. Like to save a dime where I can, but wouldn't do it if I ended up looking like any one of the Three Stooges!

When I first started going to my barber she was younger and hotter.

and at the same shop there was an eastern European lady who had a killer bod. My lady wasn't working one day so I let the European cut my hair. Man I was fighting the urge . She was a little rough with my hair, but not too rough. LOL. I think she was doing it on purpose. I never saw her being that rough regularly. She doesn't work there any more but she always wore some great pants and shirts. Joe A would have loved her

For the last 23 years I've been sleeping with the woman who cuts my hair (and she was a beautician in a past life). The haircuts have been free but the car and house she requires have set me back a bit.

When i was a kid, the barber also sold condoms. Lambskins, I think. I sure didn't need any. You had to know the secret sign. A silver dollar between the knuckles, rapped on the counter.
Frank, the barber, scary, that guy. Every time you went in there, if he wasn't cutting hair, he was on the toilet, with the door open.
Anyways, I digress........ A barbershop is where men should get their hair cut. Preferably not at Frank's.
